What type of images should I use?
We suggest using animated gifs as these are usually small in size, colourful and looped, which make them ideal for the backpack.
Where do I find animated gifs to use?
Just do a web search for your desired animated gif, find one you like, download it to your phone then upload to the backpack via the app. Alternatively you can browse popular gif websites such as GIPHY to find millions of gifs that can be downloaded free of charge.
How to choose the best type of gifs?
If possible try choosing gifs that are in portrait mode (rather than landscape) as they fit the screen better.
Also gifs with black backgrounds tend to blend more seamlessly with the screen.
Can I create my own gifs?
Yes, there are lots of apps that allow you to create your own gifs, just do a web search or search on your app store for GIF CREATOR.
Can I use my own videos?
Yes you can, but the backpack can only accept files with a very small file size, so we suggest converting videos to short animated gifs before trying to use with the backpack
Do I always need my phone on me for the screen to work?
No, once you decide on your chosen routines using the PROGRAMME section of the Loy Space app they are stored to the backpack, so your phone is no longer required. This also handy if you lose or replace your phone as next time you connect to the backpack your routines will download from the backpack into the app.
Can I use other apps other than LOY SPACE?
Yes, there are other apps available that will work with the backpack, try searching your app store for LED SPACE.
